There are stories that don't start with a business plan. They start with a need.
At the end of 2016, the ground disappeared from under my feet. I entered a period of deep depression — the kind that doesn't warn you, that creeps up slowly until you realize you no longer recognize yourself. I lost weight in a frightening way. I came close to a limit I never want to approach again.
April 2017 was a turning point. Not dramatically, not overnight — but it was when something changed direction. I started taking care of myself. Nature walks with my dog, weight training, therapy. I relearned to pay attention to what is beautiful. At the end of the day. To the light. To the detail most people overlook.
One late afternoon in March 2019 — I think it was Women's Day — I made a piece of art in honor of women. I showed it to my sister. She liked it and said: keep doing this. I continued. Every late afternoon, after walks, I would create another piece. Surrealist art, where dreams began to gain color.
That's how @romantiqueart was born.
For four years, I created non-stop. Surrealism became a refuge and then a language. And in August 2023, what was art became a brand: Surrealizze was born with a simple yet urgent mission — to convey the message Dream More.
Because in my view, those who stop dreaming die to life.
Surrealizze is not just a t-shirt store. It's a community. For those who love art, nature, contact with beauty. For those who enjoy rock, electronic, reggae and value freedom. For those inspired by magic, theater, gastronomy — for all who draw from their own creativity a way to live and survive amidst chaos.
If art saved me, I believe it can inspire you too.
Dream More!
